Report:
The main focus of this report is to describe the wear and tear on the gear and how the gear has held up.
I was wearing the socks twice a week for several months while skiing and the gloves once a week while working with disabled persons skiing.
This meant that the socks got washed twice a week, I didn't wear a liner under the sock, and the gloves every couple weeks or so.
I washed the socks in my regular laundry with cold water. I then let them run thru the regular dryer cycle.
The first few times thru the dryer I put them thru on half heat to see how they would hold up and I could tell no difference when I took them out. After that, I put them thru the dryer on full heat - the instructions say specifially to not do this! So far though, the socks have handled the dryer heat with no visible problems. They still fit the same, feel the same, and function the same.
I tested another pair of similar socks, the StormSocks, they did not make it thru the dryer unscathed.
Report Closure:
These are indeed very well designed products in my opinion.
I specifically like the wear and wash capability.
I will be recommending them to anyone
who asks about them.
