Recent Modifications to Triad Stove
 
Based in part on the recommendations provided by Backpackgeartest.com we have recently made two modifications to the Triad stove: First, the top and bottom parts of the stove are seamlessly welded.  The occasional leaking has now been eliminated.  Second, cotton is no longer inserted into the stove as a wicking agent.  Removing the cotton has resulted in a hotter flame and slightly shorter burn time (approximately 20 minutes when filled).  Also, removing the cotton allows you to pour all unused alcohol back into fuel bottle with no residual fuel in the stove.
