Final thoughts:  I have to say that I continue to love these boots.  For more in-depth information please check out my Initial Report and my Field Report. These boots have slogged through mud and streams without leaking.  I have climbed over rocks, deadfall, slid down steep banks and tried to climb up steeper banks, all without causing any damage to the soles of the boots.  My feet have stayed dry in all circumstances so far.  The insoles, while flattening out slightly from wear, are still as comfortable and conforming to my feet as they were at the beginning.  I am amazed at the lightness of these boots also.  Although they feel a tad heavy after slogging around in them through knee deep snow (even SOCKS feel heavy on the feet after that) I can honestly say that, compared to the snowmobile boots I normally wear, these have now become my boot of choice for winter outdoor activities.

The weather that these boots were worn ranged in temperatures from -15 F/-8 C and up to 30 F/17 C with no noticeable comfort change.  My feet did not noticably sweat in the higher temps though they were warmer than I care for.  My feet did stay most toasty in the colder temps.

The overall condition of the boots remains at near perfect condition.  The fabric has not frayed, the rubber has not cracked nor been cut by any of the terrain I have clambered over/through.  The buckles continue to work even after having been frozen solid and thawed numerous times.

I would like to thank Baffin Technology and BackpackGearTest for the opportunity to test these fine boots.

What I like: Totally comfortable.  No blisters even with all the climbing I did while wearing them.  Fit is perfect, no slipping, no sliding (other than when I was trying to go up and down banks <g>).  Feet do NOT sweat!

What I don't like: Nothing.
